The most meaningful environmental progress doesn’t happen when everyone agrees. It begins when different perspectives are brought together with curiosity, trust, and a shared purpose. That belief shapes every partnership, every project, and every conversation I lead.
Environmental Literacy Strategic Plan
Facilitated collaboration among more than 60 organizations and led the development of Virginia’s first statewide K–12 Environmental Literacy Strategic Plan.
Carnivore Coexistence
Led an international youth workshop on carnivore coexistence communication and created a bold, hands-on guide to help participants find their voice and craft messages that connect.
Pathways Conference, Oxford
Took the stage at the Pathways Conference in Oxford for Science & Story: Communication Innovation for Coexistence, leading an interactive session on Storytelling Across Generations with activities that helped participants turn facts into stories tailored for different audiences.

Featured guest on a podcast filmed by Wolf Connection, exploring how communication, governance, and public engagement shape conservation outcomes through research and real-world environmental leadership.
How I Work
Complex conservation challenges rarely have simple solutions. They involve competing priorities, different ways of knowing, uncertain science, shifting policies, and people who care deeply — but not always in the same ways. My role isn't to simplify that complexity. It's to help organizations navigate it, looking for the connections others may miss: where research informs practice, where communication builds trust, where education shapes lasting change, and where competing perspectives become opportunities for collaboration.
